Get Well Soon Bro

About a week ago a friend of mine was at party where he was beaten up. As a result from the attack he is currently unrecognizable due to fracturing a numerous amount of bones in his face and the swelling and bruising that came with it. While his family and him have not released many details about the situation, such as why he was beaten up or other details such as if the attack was agitated or random.  What I do know is that his family and him are suffering not only because of the attack but due to the medical bills that came with it. Seeing the amount that their Gofundme page is asking for and knowing that he has just started a new job where he has probably not been able to sign up for benefits such as health insurance and paid leave. With what has happened to my friend it shocks me that humans are capable of causing so much harm to one another in more ways than just physical. Seeing that it was human hands that did this to my friend also makes me ask how can someone consciously cause this much harm to another living human being. What can be such a motivator for someone to knowingly throw multiple blows causing multiple fractures in a persons face? Even though  it is a tragic situation, their is a bittersweetness that comes when such accidents happen in seeing the amount of friends and family that can come together to help a loved one in need.
